IMPORTANT NOTICE: Continuing Education Rule Change
The Idaho State Board of Dentistry has implemented revisions to the rules regarding continuing education requirements for dentists and dental hygienists beginning October 1, 2010. The new rules limit the number of self-study hours that will be allowed for license renewal. The revised rules are available on the Idaho State Board of Dentistry Website.

Continuing Education Opportunities
ADA, ISDA, and component society meetings offer opportunities for gaining continuing education credits. One hour of instruction equates to one continuing education credit.

ADA CE Online is the ADA's comprehensive library of online courses for general dentists, specialists, and dental team members. Prices are discounted for member dentists. A complete listing is available on ADA Continuing Education Online.

JADA Online Continuing Education -- Member dentists can earn two credit hours per month just by reading selected JADA articles and completing an exam, either by mail or online. Visit jada.ada.org and click on Continuing Education for more information and to get started.
